AR Flashcards: the playful alphabet
Available for free on Android, AR Flashcards is an educational application that allows you to learn the alphabet in a fun way using augmented reality.
Note first of all that an animal is displayed for each letter, the application being entirely in English, the names of the animals are also.
How to do ?
The maps are either to be printed in color on paper or to be displayed on another screen. Once the application is launched, simply click on Get Started and point the camera at the card in question. The letter and the animal present on the card are then represented in augmented reality and in 3D.
A collection of dinosaur cards is also available with the famous T-Rex, Stegosaurus and the Diplodocus. Pressing the animal lets you hear its name in English and the letter of the alphabet. Another button captures the screen to keep a memory of the experience.

Even if the rendering is perfectible, AR Flashcards offers the 26 letters and the alphabet and 6 dinosaurs for free. Parents will be delighted and will find a fun and innovative way to teach the alphabet to children.
